As a college educator, Dr. Shaw has experience speaking to small & large
groups, including parenting groups, schools, churches and college chapel
services on topics of interest. Scott has spoken in the United States
and abroad, including a keynote address at Falarte Christian College
in
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (1997). Scott is available upon request and can
tailor the subject material to the specific needs of the group.

Divorce is unquestiongly difficult on all involved, but perhaps most difficult on children & adolescents. In this workshop, Dr. Shaw gives practical information to encourage children's healthy post-divorce transition. The importance of healthy parental role modeling and conflict management skills will also be covered. |
| Bullying: What Every Parent Needs to Know |

Bullying, though often undetected by adults, can be traumatic for children & adolescents. This workshop will present a variety of issues regarding bullying, including common signs your child may be bullied and what to do if your child is the bully. Dr. Shaw will also talk about peer mediation and include suggestions for parents in working with the school on your child's behalf. |
